Itinerary
Visitors will arrive at the Amritsar Airport as per their flight schedule. When they arrive, they will meet the Viral Yatra tour manager at the airport, and then we will head to Dalhousie – a tiny tinsel town spread across five hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range. After that, we make our way to the hotel, where we can unwind during our free time. In the evening, we hold a brief Meet and Greet session. After that, you can have dinner and go to sleep.

Start your day off right with a hearty breakfast, and then travel with us to Khajjiar, popularly known as Little Switzerland because of its stunning natural scenery. For an additional fee, those with a sense of adventure can partake in exhilarating sports like paragliding, zorbing, horseback riding, etc. Later, we travel to the Khajjiar Sanctuary, which is well-known for its Deodar Forest, Grasslands, and an easy hiking track that leads to a pristine forest and a breathtaking view of the Pir Panjal ranges. We will stroll along the Ravi River in the evening and go boating at Chamera Dam. After a busy day, we will return to the hotel, check in, eat dinner, and sleep.

After waking up, we will have a delicious breakfast this morning before checking out from the hotel. Then we will travel to Dharamshala, the residence of Dalai Lama; it is a hilltop city on the edge of the Himalayas surrounded by cedar trees. En route, we visit Kangra Fort – the largest fort in the Himalayas built atop a hill with a sweeping view of the Kangra valley. Then we will travel to Chinmaya Tapovan – an ashram at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges in the Kangra Valley. We stop by the meditation room here. A panoramic view is available when you stroll through the thick pine forest en route to the Ashram. When we get to Dharamshala, we will head to the hotel, where we will have some free time to unwind and explore the neighborhood. After a delectable dinner, we will chill out before going to sleep.

Today after an energetic breakfast, we go to explore Dharamshala. We stop for a picture at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. After that, we will go on & experience the Dharamshala Skyway ropeway ride offering breathtaking aerial views of the picturesque town. Upon arrival, we stroll around the well-known McLeod Ganj – a beautiful town with a strong Tibetan influence nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery. After spending some time exploring McLeod Ganj, you can go shopping at the Tibetian Bazaar. After that, we will make a photo stop at the Dalai Lama Monastery (if it is open), a tranquil temple complex renowned for its colorful prayer halls and ornamental façade. We will also stop by Saint John Church, an 18th-century Victorian-style church, and Bhagsu Naag Temple, an ancient temple where Lord Shiva himself triumphed. Here, we take a little stroll in the Himalayan Mountains, breathe in the clean mountain air as we stroll through this picture-perfect wonderland, and take in the breathtaking Himalayan sunset. On returning, we will head towards the hotel, check-in, eat a wonderful dinner, and then go to bed.

After refueling with a delicious breakfast today, we travel to Amritsar. Upon arrival, we go to Jallianwala Bagh, a historical garden and national treasure preserved in honor of those who died in the Jallianwala Massacre on April 13, 1919, and the Partition Museum, the first museum in the world devoted to the 1947 Partition. The Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib, is the holiest Gurudwara and the most important place of pilgrimage for Sikhs. The Akal Takht, the imperial throne of Khalsa and seat of power, is also visible here. The golden temple at night is unquestionably a feast for the eyes and spirit. We will stay there for a while before returning to the hotel for dinner and sleep.

Today after a hearty breakfast to get the day started well, we visit the Attari Wagah Border (subject to operation) – to see the illustrious lowering of the flags ceremony, a daily military ritual shared by the security forces of India and Pakistan since 1959. Later that night, we will have fun at the Sound & Light Show at Gobindgarh Fort. We then have free time for shopping. Then we head back to the hotel for a delicious dinner and sleep.

This morning after refueling with a final breakfast of the trip, we will check out of the hotel, & then we will visit the Punjab State War Heroes Memorial & Museum- built to honor the supreme sacrifices made by Punjabis while fighting in the armed services. We then travel to Amritsar Farm. Here, we indulge in Punjabi cuisine. Here, we partake in a genuine farm experience, including a bullock cart ride, a tractor ride, a walking tour of the farm, and a visit to the dairy farm. Then we will head back to the hotel for a delicious dinner and sleep.
